Intel joins Musk's Terafab project for AI chip building

Intel said on Tuesday it will join Elon Musk's Terafab AI chip complex project with SpaceX and Tesla to ​make processors powering his robotics and data centre ambitions. Intel's capabilities will help accelerate Terafab's goal of producing 1 terawatt ⁠annually of compute for future advances in robotics, the chipmaker said on X. Intel's shares jumped nearly ‌3% after the announcement.
