Inter Milan terminate Eriksen's contract over cardiac device implant

Inter Milan on Friday said they terminated Christian Eriksen's contract after he was suspended from playing in Italy due to his cardiac device implant. Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest during Denmark's game with Finland at the European Championship in June. The Italian medical authority suspended Eriksen due to a rule prohibiting the use of an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) device.
