Intermittent fasting improves symptoms in women with PCOS: Study
A study published in Nature Medicine says intermittent fasting can help improve symptoms in women with PCOS. The condition causes overproduction of androgen (male sex hormone), which may result in menstrual irregularity. It was found that time-restricted eating reduced free androgen index, a marker of how much active testosterone reaches tissues. However, it didn't lessen menstrual irregularity.
