Internet data prices went from ₹269 per GB in 2014 to just ₹10 per GB in 2023: Govt

Sharing statistics showing digital India's story, the government said internet data prices fell from ₹269 per GB in 2014 to just ₹10.1 per GB in 2023. It further said that 46% of the world's total real-time digital transactions take place in India. It added that 86.9 lakh Wi-Fi hotspots have been installed in India till now to ensure last-mile connectivity.
