Internet suspended in Bhadrak for 48 hours after communal clashes

Odisha government has suspended internet services in Bhadrak district for 48 hours till September 30 amid the clash between two communities. As per officials, a Facebook post disparaging a certain religion led to the protest, which eventually turned violent, prompting police to resort to a lathi-charge. Bhadrak Sub-Divisional Magistrate Manoj Patra said that two policemen were injured in protest.
