Interstellar-inspired study suggests messages may travel back in time

An Interstellar movie-inspired study suggests sending information back through time may be theoretically possible using "closed timelike curves". Researchers said it could explain how Cooper, played by Matthew McConaughey, sent messages to his daughter without creating time-travel paradoxes, as only self-consistent events would occur. The theory remains unproven and will be tested using photons.
