Invested ₹220cr in Paytm payments bank: Vijay Shekhar Sharma

Paytm's Founder and CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma has revealed that ₹220 crore has been invested in Paytm's Payments Bank to date, which is expected to launch in early 2017. He added that the initial investment could go as high as ₹400 crore and will be deployed in tranches. Paytm is one of the 11 recipients of RBI’s payments bank licence.
