Investigation begins into how ship got stuck on Suez Canal

Formal investigations into how the Ever Given ship ran aground in Egypt's Suez Canal began on Wednesday, a canal official said. Suez Canal Authority Chairman Osama Rabie has suggested weather conditions led to the grounding of the ship, blocking the waterway for six days. The ship's seaworthiness and its captain's actions to help determine the causes will reportedly be examined.
