Investments in space tech up 102% to $7.95 bn in Jan-Mar quarter
Global investment in space companies surged to $7.95 billion in the January-March quarter, more than doubling from $3.93 billion in the previous quarter, as per data from investment firm Seraphim Space. This was driven by late-stage funding and optimism around a possible SpaceX IPO, Reuters reported. It pushed the total funding over the last 12 months to $18.8 billion.
