Investors earn ₹17 lakh crore as Sensex ends 2,950 points higher after US-Iran ceasefire
Sensex closed nearly 2,950 points higher at 77,562.90 on Wednesday after Iran and the US announced a two-week ceasefire. Nifty also surged by 873 points to end at 23,997.35. Investors earned ₹17 lakh crore as the overall market capitalisation of BSE-listed firms jumped to ₹445 lakh crore. IndiGo and L&T were among the top gainers on Sensex.
