Investors earn ₹9 lakh crore as Sensex jumps over 1,400 points intraday

Sensex surged over 1,400 points to an intraday high of 78,270, while Nifty 50 jumped more than 400 points to the day's high of 24,281 on Wednesday. Investors' wealth jumped by ₹9 lakh crore as the cumulative market capitalisation of the firms listed on BSE rose to ₹458 lakh crore, reported LiveMint. All major sectoral indices traded in the green.
