Investors in India lose ₹10 lakh crore in a day as Sensex falls to near 82,000-level
Sensex's 1,000-point dip on Tuesday resulted in loss of ₹10 lakh crore for investors in India, CNBC-TV18 reported. This comes as the combined market value of BSE-listed firms tumbled to ₹455.82 lakh crore and Sensex fell 1,065.71 points to near the 82,000-level. While BSE Realty index was the top loser among indices, Eternal and Bajaj Finance were top losing stocks.
