Investors lose ₹9 lakh crore as Sensex dips by over 900 points

Investors lost more than ₹9 lakh crore on Tuesday as Sensex crashed by 930 points to end at 80,220.72. Nifty also dipped by 309 points to end below 24,500. Mahindra and Mahindra, Tata Steel, Power Grid Corporation of India, SBI and Tata Motors were among the top losers on Sensex, while ICICI Bank was the sole gainer.
