iPhone almost like birth control device, linked to falling birth rates: Research

A National Bureau of Economic Research study suggested iPhone may have played a major role in America's falling birth rates. Researchers said America's general fertility rate has fallen by 22% since 2007, the year when iPhones were launched. "As modern smartphones diffused, time spent with friends in person and sexual activity fell sharply alongside rising consumption of pornography," they said.
