iPhone Fold to get thinner display with Samsung CoE tech: Reports

Apple will adopt Samsung Display's Colour Filter on Encapsulation (CoE) technology for its upcoming iPhone Fold, reports said. CoE could enable a thinner design with improved brightness and power efficiency by removing the plastic polariser used in conventional OLED panels. iPhone Fold is expected to be the first device to use CoE technology.
