IPL chairman rejects claim that uncapped player rule has been brought back for MS Dhoni
IPL chairman Arun Dhumal rejected claims that BCCI introduced uncapped player rule for CSK to sign MS Dhoni for lower price slab. "It's for all our players...There are many players [who've retired from] international cricket but...are fit to play," he said. As per the rule, players who haven't played international cricket for five years can be retained as uncapped players.
