IPL teams can retain 6 players, mega auction purse set at ₹120 crore per team

The IPL franchises will be allowed to retain up to six players each, as per the retention rules set ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction. Franchises will also be able to use Right to Match (RTM) card at the mega auction. Further, the auction purse has been set at ₹120 crore per team, ₹20 crore more than last year.
