IPS officer removed from Rashtrapati Bhavan duty over misconduct allegations

Joint Commissioner of Police Veenu Bansal, a 2004-batch IPS officer of AGMUT cadre serving as Joint CP (Security) at Rashtrapati Bhavan, was removed over allegations of misconduct. As per reports, Bansal invoked the 'Blue Book' - India's protocol manual for VIP and ceremonial matters - against senior Army officers and also used President's Estate golf course for his personal acquaintances.
