IPS officer Sanjay Arora appointed as new Commissioner of Delhi Police

Director General of the ITBP, Sanjay Arora, has been appointed as the next Delhi Police Commissioner from August 1, 2022, the Ministry of Home Affairs said in an order. Arora is a 1988-batch IPS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre. He will be replacing IPS officer Rakesh Asthana as the Delhi Police Commissioner.
