IPS officer Shiladitya died by suicide in ICU where his wife passed away

IPS officer Shiladitya Chetia died by suicide in the ICU where his wife passed away due to cancer, Hitesh Baruah, Managing Director of Assam's Nemcare Hospital said. "He reached hospital and told the attending doctor and nurse to leave him with his wife's body alone for a few moments, he wanted to offer prayers. Suddenly they heard gunshots," Baruah added.
