IPS officer suspended for forcibly entering married woman's home

The Odisha government has suspended IPS officer Pandit Rajesh Uttamrao on the grounds of "grave misconduct" after allegations emerged that he forcibly entered the home of a married woman inspector and misbehaved with her. While suspended, Uttamrao's headquarters will be the state police headquarters in Cuttack. He'll receive a subsistence allowance according to the rules during his suspension.
