Iran, one of the world's largest oil producers, asks its people to save petrol

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf urged Iranians to cut their consumption of petrol amid a naval blockade by the US in the Strait of Hormuz. "Of course, part of the responsibility for this high consumption doesn't lie with our people; it lies with our industry," Ghalibaf said. This comes despite Iran being one of the world's largest oil producers.
