Iran, other countries could join Turkiye-Saudi-Pakistan defence pact: Turkish speaker

Mecca defence pact between Turkiye, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan could expand to include more countries from the "Muslim world", including Iran, Turkish parliament speaker said. The deal will be submitted for parliamentary approval next month, he added. "It wouldn't be correct to regard this agreement as an alliance...against Iran, Israel, or any third country," President Recep Erdogan had said.
