Iran: US forced into ceasefire after failing its goals

Iranian President Pezeshkian said the US agreed to a ceasefire after 40 days of fighting and three months of negotiations mediated by Pakistan and Qatar. He accused Washington of violating the June MOU, which expired August 17. At the SCO summit, Pezeshkian proposed a joint bank, energy consortium, and export insurance union.
