Iran asks ships to submit requests to cross Strait of Hormuz 2 days in advance

The Iran-controlled Persian Gulf Strait Authority has directed tankers and ships to submit requests to pass through the Strait of Hormuz two days in advance. The body noted that it won't collect tariffs from any ships using the waterway for 60 days. It also asked ships to coordinate a designated route to avoid coming in contact with sea mines.
