Iran attacks US bases in Kuwait, Bahrain; US launches strikes at Iran

US military said it successfully defeated a series of Iranian missile and drone attacks at their bases in Kuwait and Bahrain and conducted self-defence strikes on Iran's Qeshm Island. "Iran launched several ballistic missiles toward regional neighbours; however, all failed to hit their intended targets," it stated. It denied IRGC's claims of striking US Navy's Fifth Fleet Headquarters in Bahrain.
