Iran-backed group claims responsibility for crashing US military plane in Iraq

An American KC-135 aerial refuelling aircraft crash in western Iraq killed all six people onboard, following which Iranian proxy group Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed responsibility for shooting down the aircraft. However, this contradicts US' statement that claimed that the loss of the aircraft was "not due to hostile fire or friendly fire".
