Iran-backed Houthis take control of Yemen’s entire coast along strategic Bab el-Mandeb Strait

Iran-backed Houthis have taken control of Yemen’s entire Red Sea coast, reports said. They've already seized strategic Red Sea port city of Mokha from Saudi-backed pro-government forces. Their rapid advance expanded their control over Bab al-Mandeb, a key shipping route linking Gulf of Aden and Red Sea that has been used as alternative to Strait of Hormuz amid US-Iran war.
