Iran can't take money it collected via donations in India home: Report

The money and jewellery that Iran Embassy collected in India cannot be taken to Tehran via diplomatic channels, The Print reported, adding that the money will be used to procure medicines in India itself. The report added that funds raised by foreign missions are repatriated only after the RBI scrutinises them. The Vienna Convention doesn't speak about fundraising by missions.
