Iran carries out 1st execution over anti-hijab protests: Report

Iran has hanged an anti-hijab protester convicted of injuring a paramilitary force member and blocking a street in Tehran, Tasnim News Agency reported. This is the first known execution carried out in Iran over anti-hijab protests that broke out nearly three months ago. The Supreme Court reportedly said the defendant's actions represented a "crime of waging war against God".
