Iran claims 'complete control' of Strait of Hormuz
Iran's Revolutionary Guards on Wednesday said that they have "complete control" of the Strait of Hormuz. It is among world's most critical shipping routes. Over 20-30% of global oil and LNG supplies pass through it, making any disruption a matter of economic concern. IRGC Navy official Mohammad Akbarzadeh warned that any vessel attempting to transit the passage could face risks.
