Iran closes Strait of Hormuz, attacks Bahrain and Kuwait after new US strikes

Iran has claimed attacks on US military bases in Bahrain and Kuwait and targeted two vessels in the Strait of Hormuz in retaliation for renewed US attacks on the country, reported Al Jazeera. Iran's top ​joint military ‌command also announced the closure ​of ​the Strait of ⁠Hormuz. The US launched a second round of airstrikes on Iran on Thursday morning.
