Iran on Friday commemorated the 1979 takeover of the American Embassy in Tehran. State-run television showed people in the capital waving placards with anti-American slogans and some waving triangle-shaped miniature drone-replicas, which suggested the use of Iranian drones by Russia in the Ukraine war. The commemorations were held as anti-government protests continued in parts of the country.
