Iran denies it dug 3,000 graves fearing mass casualties at Khamenei's funeral

Iran has denied reports that 3,000 graves were prepared, fearing mass casualties during former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's funeral procession. "All relevant authorities had been working for weeks to ensure that the funeral ceremony...would be conducted in the safest, most orderly, and dignified manner possible," it said. "No Iranian official has ever made such a statement," it added.
