Iran denies reports of oil spill near its Kharg Island

Iran's Oil Terminals ⁠Company has denied ⁠reports of an oil leak near Kharg Island after recently published satellite imagery showed a purported spill covering dozens of square kilometres, state media reported. Inspections found no evidence of leaks from storage ​tanks, pipelines, loading facilities ​or tankers operating near the country's main oil export hub, the company's CEO said.
