Iran denies responsibility for missile attacks on US-UK base in Indian Ocean

Iran denied responsibility for the ballistic missile attacks on the joint US-UK military base of Diego Garcia, located 4,000 km from Iran in the Indian Ocean. A senior Iranian official told Al Jazeera that Iran didn't launch the missiles. This comes after UK allowed US, in retaliation for the Diego Garcia attack, to use its military bases for collective self-defence.
