Iran executes man accused of aiding US, Israel in anti-govt protests

Iran on Sunday executed Majid Adineh, a detainee from the January protests, after the Supreme Court upheld his death sentence. Authorities accused him of taking “operational action” for Israel, the US and hostile groups. He was arrested on January 9, allegedly carrying a "revolver, ammunition, two tasers, two tear gas canisters, a rechargeable chainsaw, and a bottle of gasoline".
