Amid peace negotiations, Iran launched its first missile attack targeting Israel since a ceasefire took effect in early April, raising the possibility of a return to heavy fighting. The attack came a day after Iran warned of retaliation over Israel's strikes on Beirut. After Iran's attack, Israel launched missiles at the country following which several blasts were heard in Iran.
