Iran have to come to US: FIFA chief on World Cup 2026

FIFA President Gianni Infantino has backed Iran's participation in the FIFA World Cup 2026 after they requested to move their matches from the US to Mexico amid tensions in the Middle East. "The Iranian team is coming for sure," he said. Infantino added, "Iran have to come. They represent their people, they have qualified, and the players want to play."
