Iran institutionalises control over Hormuz, lists steps ships must follow to pass through

Iran has launched the Persian Gulf Strait Authority to institutionalise its toll collection system and control over Strait of Hormuz. "Ships intending to cross [the Strait] receive an email from info@PGSA.ir outlining the transit regulations, [they] align their procedures with this framework, then obtain authorisation for passage," Iran said. This comes as US continues to blockade Iranian ports.
