Iran invokes centuries old poem while offering to mediate between India & Pak

While offering to mediate between India and Pakistan, amid rising tensions between the two neighbours due to the Pahalgam attack, Iran invoked a 13th century poem by legendary persian poet Saadi Shirazi. "Human Beings are members of a whole, In creation of one essence and soul, If one member is inflicted with pain, Other members uneasy will remain," it says.
