Iran may allow Japanese vessels to pass via Strait of Hormuz: Report
Iran may allow Japanese vessels to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, and talks have started about opening the strait between both nations, Japanese news agency Kyodo reported, citing Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. Japan gets around 90% of its oil shipments via the Hormuz. This comes as Iran selectively opened the strait for some Indian, Russian and Chinese tankers.
