Iran may let oil tankers trading in Chinese yuan cross Strait of Hormuz: Report
Iran may allow a limited number of oil tankers to cross the Strait of Hormuz if their cargo is traded in Chinese yuan, CNN reported, citing a senior official. Most of the world's oil is traded in US dollars except for some sanctioned Russian oil, which trades in roubles/yuan. Recently, an Indian-bound LPG tanker was allowed to cross the strait.
