Iran needs nuclear energy for progress not nuclear bomb: Pezeshkian at UNGA

Iran President Masoud Pezeshkian defended Iran's nuclear programme in the UN General Assembly on Wednesday and said, "We seek energy for progress, not to threaten society with bombs." "For 200 years, Iran has not attacked any country, we've only defended ourselves, but we're accused of being the source of instability in the region...we wish to cooperate...for security," he added.
