Iran poses persistent threat to US, intelligence warned month before ceasefire: Report

The FBI and other federal intelligence agencies warned in March that the Iranian government "poses a persistent threat" to US military and government personnel as well as Jewish and Israeli institutions, Reuters reported. However, the White House downplayed the likelihood of an attack. The warning came a month before US President Donald Trump announced a two weeks ceasefire with Iran.
