Iran rejects Trump's claim on reopening Hormuz, says 'There's no return to free passage'
Iran rejected US President Donald Trump's claim that Strait of Hormuz would return to its previous status under a proposed agreement, Fars News Agency reported. Iran reportedly agreed only to allow the number of passing ships to return to pre-war levels, but this "in no way means a return to free passage". Strait's management would remain "exclusively under Iran's authority."
