Iran reminds US of failed 'Operation Eagle Claw' of 1980, says 'history repeats itself'

After Iran dismissed the US' claim of it successfully rescuing an airman from Iran, Iran Embassy in India reminded the US of the failed operation of 1980 titled 'Operation Eagle Claw'. "History repeats itself," the Embassy posted on X. Several US aircraft, deployed to rescue US Embassy staff after the Iranian revolution, were destroyed in the operation.
