Iran's hardliners have turned on President Masoud Pezeshkian and senior officials over efforts to negotiate peace with the US. During former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei's funeral, mourners reportedly chanted "death to the compromiser" at Pezeshkian. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also reportedly fled after a mob threw rocks at him, as accusations of betrayal and coup plotting intensified.
