The White House said the US could "take out" Iran's 'crown jewel' Kharg Island at any time if President Donald Trump "gives the order". This comes after Trump-led administration was considering plans to occupy or blockade Kharg Island to pressure Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. The island serves as the export terminal for 90% of Iran's oil shipments.
