Iran's Parliament proposes collecting tolls in Rial from ships to pass Strait of Hormuz

Iran's Parliament has proposed collecting tolls in the Iranian currency Rial from the ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, the head of Iran’s Parliament National Security Commission said. This comes after reports claimed Iran plans to impose $1/barrel toll on oil tankers passing through the Strait. US President Donald Trump had asked Iran to not charge the toll.
